This patient’s original smile reflected the natural effects of aging. She was frequently complimented on her teeth and many wondered why she would seek treatment. She had minimal wear and was generally happy with her appearance. However, she wanted to address the grayish tone of her teeth.
Over time, natural wear, grinding, and the shrinking of dental nerves reduce blood supply to the teeth, resulting in a gradual gray discoloration.
Our objective was not to dramatically alter her smile but to subtly enhance it while preserving its character. Using her natural tooth shapes as a blueprint, we corrected minor shifting and revitalized the color, transitioning from a gray-white tone to a vibrant yellow-white, creating a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
